this piece was inspired by the knowledge of their being a shift in zodiac ages. an occurrence that happens approx every 2000 years. it is known that the transition now is from the age of pisces to Aquarius marked in the scriptures, luke 22:10 when Jesus said " a man will meet you carrying an earthen pitcher of water; follow him into the house he goes in." the bible was written well after the discovery of the zodiac and its importance to understanding mankind and the universe and as such this could serve as a metaphor for a time a change. This inspired me to create something that reflected the context and especially the theme of change, approaching this piece with a more portrait than landscape style allowed me to add certain features of significance and align them more linearly inodrer to create a distortion in the mind of the viewer as you can almost look at and out into the piece. technological, spiritual and mental advancement result as the aquarian age will be a time of prosperity, unity and abundance.

though there are different colours in the grand tapestry of life, all people are equal strings.
