recto verso

this was inspired by the song recto verso by a group named paradis which means both sides. this came early into my art exploration as i begin to merge art and philosophy this was the beginning of duality for me. light and dark and how the two are inextricable. as i obsessed with depicting reflection, it was important to create a concealed warmth behind a cool reflection achieved with the colours in this piece and the direction of the movement of the forms present be it the lines, expressions and rain. overall this art piece captures the shock and relief of realizing duality in our own lives and selves.
