sheep

inspired by what i perceive as the state of the world we live in, in which the truth appears to be an offense. as ridiculous as it may sound thats what i wanted to capture with this piece as the last of the flock sits upon the edge with no shepherd and encroached on by the wolves,surely the lone survive being the black sheep. the melancholy of this piece is blatant but to make a parody of it, ive added loose expressions left to the viewers own understanding under the beautiful detailed night of the full moon. overall this piece is meant to be funny yet thought provoking as the poetry that inspired it as well goes;

upon the mountain though it is steep
why do the sheep flood the peak ?
the wolves near,the future of the sheep now bleak
ascension favours the wicked and the weak
a flock with no shepherd and their luck they cast off as a freak
they must call the shepherd quick,before they are fast asleep
