moorish teachings

inspired by the history of the african moors i set to touch on an even deeper history of the people and see why in a world of barns and huts, they dwelt in complex geometric structures found all over spain and parts of europe today. in this piece i used an impressionist brush as there isnt much to it it was important to try capture the length of the moment and that which is brewing, that one can assume is happening by the movement in the piece. Perhaps you too may see the effort in juxtaposing a calm dessert night with a rejuvenated fiery resolve.
