inspired by the divine feminines ability to express herself and be willing not to compromise for anything less than unconditional love, i sought to capture inebriating essence of the unbridled love that seeps through ever so slightly that is often overlooked by first glance, in her bodily expression.
i begin to play with closeups and blending more in this piece, specifically with a less vast colour palette, inspired by my study into ancient egypt and its mysteries, this figure is bastet the cat goddess of love, pleasure and protection. her posture is my attempt to potray a subtle yet confident goddess, shy at first glance, but deep eyes with undeniable beauty. what do you think ?
