ma'at

inspired by the divine feminines ability to express herself and be willing not to compromise for anything less than unconditional love, i sought to capture inebriating essence of the unbridled love that seeps through ever so slightly that is often overlooked by first glance, that is ever so present in her bodily expression.

Ma'at goddess of truth and justice, balance and order. ones heart had to be weighed against a feather of ma'ats with balance continuing their journey into the afterlife.

once again i used vibrant colours,line patterns and most of all her bodily expression as she sits upon a rather comfortable and decorated throne, the goal was to exude the prestige and elegance of ma'at knowing she was a metaphor for what ones own heart should be it adds to the admiration of her character and this piece.
