inspired by the divine feminines ability to express herself and be willing not to compromise for anything less than unconditional love, i sought to capture inebriating essence of the unbridled love that seeps through ever so slightly that is often overlooked by first glance, in her bodily expression.

playing further with closeups, this is actually my attempt at creating a blended cubic piece. applying the gestalt principle and limiting the colour choices allows me to create this lukewarm vibe in the portrait, one where she is safe and yet still out of control with the overflowing hair and tear on the left cheek. inspired by the song larme à gauche, the overall effect of this piece is one of a comforting feeling as it appeals to true vulnerability.
indeed she can feel the flow of love in herself but for her lover they may be not so as lucky.- muses
